How to Have A Successful Career as a Motivational Speaker

You Gotta Be Damn Good!

Now, I want to tell you exactly what you need in order to have a very successful career as a motivational keynote speaker.

Although it’s not the be-all-end-all, it’s one of the fundamental keys to success in the speaking business.

It’s the key that will unlock the vault for you and help you take, as much out as you want and when you want it. It’s your cash cow.

Ready? All right, here it is…

Have a KILLER speech.

I mean you need to learn how to grab your audience from the very first word out of your mouth, to the last.

Your speech must flow like a roller coaster. Take them high, low, and then high again. Allow them to have an emotional experience.

Do you see my point?

That goes for any audience whether you are speaking to 10 people or 10,000 people.

You gotta make them laugh, think, cry (or, at least, feel some sad emotions) and also make them want to take action to change their lives.

I’m not talking about fabricating or faking a laugh in order to evoke certain emotions. There should be a natural flow to your presentation. Also, I’m not talking about any shouting-repeat-after-me-touch-your-neighbor stuff; save that for when you are on the pulpit.

All right, how do you craft that kind of keynote then?

In the next post, I will share with you exactly how you can do so.
