I was at Micro Center checking the new Mac Book Pro. That’s right slowly but surely I am becoming a Mac fan! I guess it’s because I am more into videos now. And videos are the future.
While at the store, I started a conversation with a brilliant man. He was sort of perplexed to know someone can actually teach others how to become a motivational speaker. He said, “I don’t think it’s possible. You either have it or you don’t have it. People are born public speakers.”

What do I mean by authority? Well, it’s the art of using your stance to force people into compliance. Because you are the authority, people assume everything you say is true and they want to march on.
That’s cool! Isn’t it?

1) Point Out The Obvious
Show them the obvious. Have you heard the saying that God is in the details? Well, your audience will most likely find their aha-moments in the details.
Pay attention to things that your audience overlooks and bring it to their attention while you’re making a point. That’s a powerful strategy.
It’s like they are heading in one direction in their minds, then you jerk their chain and completely switch their direction of thinking. Let’s look at an example; I’m going to make it up. (more…)

How To Craft a Killer Speech:
1) Focus On The Stories
You must become a GREAT STORYTELLER. Life is nothing but storytelling in the making. Every great wise man told stories to sell their ideas. Stories are the way to persuade.
